Favicon is a small logo / icon that is located in the address bar of a browser. The following is example of favicon:


On the website / blog using blogspot, favicon that appears is the default blogger favicon. Default favicon blogspot shown below:


The default blogspot favicon can be changed according to your preferences. Here is how to change the favicon on blogspot:

1. Log into Blogger
2. Click Design > Edit HTML
3. Back up your template by click downloading full template.
4. Tick the Expand Widget Templates checkbox.
5. Find the code as shown below:
   </head>
6. Before the code above, put this code:
   <link href='YOUR-URL-FAVICON' rel='shortcut icon' />
   <link href='YOUR-URL-FAVICON' rel='shortcut icon' type='image/vnd.microsoft.icon' />
   <link href='YOUR-URL-FAVICON' rel='icon'/ >
   <link href='YOUR-URL-FAVICON' rel='icon' type='image/vnd.microsoft.icon' />
7. Last, click SAVE TEMPLATES.
8. Done

You can use this tool to generate favicon, then upload your favicon to your site. Good luck!
